Companion skills: cinematic-cut and cinematic-ppt

Cinematic UI directs sites and apps. Promo films go to the companion skill cinematic-cut and decks to cinematic-ppt. Both are coming to this site soon.

Cinematic UI covers websites and apps. Two other kinds of output have their own playheads, so they live in two companion skills that share the same pre-production, the same kit and the same filmography.

Both companion skills are coming to this site soon. Until then, the details below are what Cinematic UI itself states about them.

cinematic-cut: films

A promo film, launch video, trailer, teaser or sting, anything whose playhead is time and whose output is a video file, is made with cinematic-cut. It uses the same pre-production, two schools (the cinema cut and motion graphics), and a renderer to MP4. Its reference material includes film.js, promo.js, a beat grid, a sound sheet and print.

If cinematic-cut is not installed when you ask for a film, Cinematic UI says so and offers it. What stays in this skill: a site built on the kit can be recorded as a video with node scripts/render-film.mjs <site> --tour 30.

cinematic-ppt: decks

A presentation, such as a pitch, evaluation or board deck, a keynote, a training deck or an HTML PPT, is made with cinematic-ppt. The screenplay comes first: an audience move contract, an evidence ledger and a titles-only storyline. Then slides are shot as a film, with builds, designed cuts, one live product moment, a presenter view, an in-browser editor and PDF, PPTX, PNG and video export.

If cinematic-ppt is not installed, Cinematic UI says so and offers it.

Shared pieces

The shared kit, references and scripts are kept identical across the skills, with Cinematic UI as the master for shared files. The filmography at ~/.cinematic-ui/filmography.md is shared by all three, so rotation spans sites, films and decks.
